CGH Neighbourhood Watch was formed by a small group of concerned residents who shared a common goal — to reduce crime and improve safety in our neighbourhood.
What began as a few conversations has grown into an active, community‑driven neighbourhood watch built on cooperation, awareness, and trust. By promoting effective communication and encouraging responsible reporting, we help ensure that incidents do not go unnoticed and that authorities can respond appropriately.
Working With Authorities
CGH Neighbourhood Watch operates in cooperation with:
- South African Police Service (SAPS)
- Community Policing Forum (CPF)
- Local emergency services
Given our proximity to forest and greenbelt areas, this cooperation is essential not only for crime prevention, but also for fire response, forestry incidents, and search‑and‑rescue situations.
